For contract workers, Personal Information may include:

  • Name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number

  • Work experience, professional and social media profiles

  • Background check and criminal record check results (where applicable)

  • Relevant health information (such as vaccination status or symptom screening where required by a prospective employer)

  • Banking information for payment purposes

  • Shift data, including check-in and check-out times, and location data to verify attendance

Personal Information does not include business contact information used solely for professional communication (such as a work email or work telephone number), nor does it include information that has been anonymized or aggregated such that an individual cannot reasonably be identified.

Personal Information We Collect


Staffing Platform and Services

When you register or use our mobile or web application, we collect the information you submit to us.

If you are a contract worker, we may also collect:

  • Information requested by a prospective employer in connection with a specific work shift (such as health information)

  • Shift details including check-in and check-out times, and performance feedback

  • Location data from your mobile device at check-in, check-out, and at periodic intervals during your shift, to verify attendance and prevent fraud

We may also automatically collect usage data identifiable to you when you use our platform.

Website

When you visit staffy.com or any of our related websites, we may collect:

  • Technical and device information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and visit timestamps

  • Preference and activity data via cookies (see below)

We use cookies -- small data files stored on your device -- to track preferences and improve your experience. Most browsers accept cookies by default but can be configured to block them. If you are a contract worker, we share relevant Personal Information with our clients in connection with actual or prospective work shifts.

We also work with third-party service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including payment processing, technical support, hosting, data storage, and analytics. These providers are required to keep your Personal Information secure and to use it only for the limited purposes for which it was shared. We do not authorize them to use your Personal Information for their own marketing purposes.
