The Importance of Setting Your Staffy Shift Radius

One of our most prevalent questions we receive from Staffy App users is being able to see a wider variety of shifts. Our main recommendation is to expand the shift radius in the app. It is our goal to make picking up the shifts you want as effortless as possible.

A wider radius can include opportunities farther from the location used by the app, if suitable shifts exist there. For example, a shift 22 kilometres away falls outside a 20-kilometre radius but inside a 30-kilometre radius. This is an illustration of distance, not evidence of additional available work. Consider travel time and assignment requirements before changing the setting.

How to Navigate the Staffy App Towards New Shift Opportunities 1. Click the menu button in the top left corner This button is the gateway to all things Staffy. You can view shifts, billing, and set your availability.

2. Select “Edit Profile” Your profile contains key information including your address, your resume, and most importantly the settings for your shift radius.

3. Scroll down to “Work Within” This is where the magic happens! Now is the time to decide how far you are willing to travel to pick up shifts.

4. Click the pencil edit button This little pencil allows you to change the radius you will see of shifts. You can make it smaller or larger.

5. Select the desired range you are willing to travel to pick up shifts Click on the kilometers you are willing to travel. Make sure you keep in mind how you will be arriving to shifts. If you only take public transportation this is something to think about.

6. Click the orange check mark to save your changes

Review any newly visible opportunities and request only work that fits your qualifications and travel plans. Increasing a radius does not guarantee more shifts or selection. Use current in-app support if the setting or booking status is unclear.
