We understand commutes to shifts can sometimes take longer than expected. From unexpected traffic to public transport delays. We always encourage our healthcare contractors to check the weather and traffic in advance. On the off chance that you are running late to your scheduled shift, letting Staffy Health know is of the utmost importance. Our Customer Success Team is here to help and facilitate communication from you and the healthcare facilities about your shift. By letting the Staffy Health Team know we can notify the healthcare facility of your updated estimated time of arrival and make sure that you receive pay for your shift on time. So, how can you prevent penalties and miscommunications? Solving this problem is easier than you may think and letting our Customer Success Team know is key. Once our team has been notified we will communicate with the Healthcare Facility updating them with your arrival time and update your shift start time in the app.

How To Update Staffy Health On Your Arrival Time

1. Calculate your new arrival time

Check your preferred maps app for the updated arrival time and alternate routes that could reduce time off of your commute to the healthcare facility.

2. Reach out to the Staffy Team

Once you have your updated arrival time please notify the Staffy Team as soon as possible. You can let them know by texting the Customer Success Team at 647-492-7821 in your preferred messages app.

3. Next Steps

Now that you have let the Customer Success Team know, they will update the Healthcare Facility with your new arrival time.

4. Clocking In

You may feel rushed to get started once you arrive at the healthcare facility. But the most important thing to do is clock in for your shift in the Staffy Health App. If you don’t clock in when you arrive at the facility, your payment for the shift could be delayed. Cancellation Fees and No Shows

Need to cancel your shift? We ask all of our contractors to try and give 48 hours notice or if it’s within 48 hours of a shift due to sickness, a doctor's note. If a contractor no shows or cancels their shift within 48 hours of the scheduled start time they will receive a $150 cancellation fee. If a client cancels on YOU, you will receive 3 hours of cancellation pay.
